Qualifications

• Hospitality engineering experience with leadership in hotel/resort environments.
• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Proficiency with computer systems and maintenance technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests, team members, and vendors.
• Spanish language skills are preferred.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the team to conduct repairs and maintenance of the building as required by operations or special projects.
• Assist in training, supervision, scheduling, and evaluation of maintenance staff and planning activities; include daily spot checks.
• Maintain close relations with hotel contractors who provide reliable 24‑hour emergency services.
• Respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to achieve guest satisfaction.
