Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer to support maintenance of resort facilities, equipment, and guest areas. The role emphasizes reliability, proactive problem-solving, and delivering a seamless luxury experience.

The ideal candidate brings basic engineering/maintenance experience, familiarity with building systems, and the ability to use digital work orders. This is a full-time on-site position in Scottsdale, AZ with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 3 months to 1 year of experience in Engineering and/or General Maintenance.
• Working knowledge of general building maintenance systems and repair practices.
• Technical knowledge gained through on-the-job training, trade school, vocational programs, or professional certifications.
• Ability to use computers and smartphones for work orders and maintenance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs
• Handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
• Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manner

About The Role

This role plays a vital behind-the-scenes part in delivering a seamless luxury experience by responding to maintenance requests, performing repairs, and ensuring all building systems operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is a dependable team player with strong technical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to exceptional service.

What You Will Do

• Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs
• Handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
• Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manner

What You Bring

Schedule & Hours

• Full Time
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Primary shift is typically Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with additional schedule flexibility required to support operational needs
