Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking a Chief Engineer in the Culver City area to oversee hotel maintenance and engineering operations. You will keep all equipment and spaces in peak condition to ensure guest comfort and safety, while controlling costs.

Lead a capable engineering team, coordinate shifts, and drive performance. Bring extensive supervisory experience and applicable certifications to a fast-paced hospitality property, where reliability and guest service matter daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years hotel/related experience, or 2-year degree with 3+ years, or 4-year degree with 2+ years.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Current certifications as required (e.g., HVAC, pool, electrical).
• Licensed to operate/repair boilers and chillers per local laws.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Calm under pressure.
• Financial and arithmetic proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance items: keep rooms and public spaces in top condition.
• Lead, train, and schedule engineering staff.
• Conduct fire safety inspections and drills.
• Respond to maintenance requests to boost guest satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds, manage lost and found, ensure property cleanliness.
• Access control and safeguarding sensitive areas.
