Canto Hotel is seeking a hands-on Chief Engineer to lead all maintenance, safety, and building operations at our Indiana property. You will ensure facilities and systems operate efficiently while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You will manage a maintenance team, prioritize preventive programs, and coordinate with vendors. A strong background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and life-safety is required, with supervisory experience and a valid driver's license preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in maintenance or engineering, preferably in hospitality.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life-safety systems.
• Hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily maintenance operations for guest rooms, public spaces, grounds, and back-of-house areas.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs and capital improvement projects.
• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, pool, refrigeration, and mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire safety, environmental, and local building regulations.
• Lead, train, schedule, and develop the maintenance team.
• Manage departmental budgets, inventory, vendor relationships, and contractor performance.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and ensure prompt resolution of guest service issues.
• Support energy management and asset preservation initiatives.
