Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead engineering strategy and execution across data centers, cloud, networking, VoIP, and cybersecurity for the AEGIS program at NASA centers. The role requires guiding modernization and shaping the technology roadmap to meet evolving mission needs.

You will oversee a large engineering team and partner with NASA and Leidos leadership to deliver complex solutions, budgets, and schedules while maintaining high technical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience.
• At least 7 years of experience managing a large engineering team.
• Experience executing development programs in an agile environment.
• Ability to brief NASA and Leidos senior leadership clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering across all AEGIS technologies including data centers, cloud, networking, VoIP, cybersecurity, and collaboration services.
• Build relationships with senior NASA and Leidos leadership to align with agency priorities.
• Continuously assess enterprise baselines and drive modernization.
• Translate NASA OCIO objectives into actionable priorities, plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Ensure daily engineering work aligns with long-term goals.
