Job summary

Bank of America seeks an experienced Chief Engineer/ Architect to guide Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI) in strategy, architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise infrastructure services. The role partners with engineering, operations, architecture, and application teams to deliver resilient and scalable capabilities aligned with the bank's long-term technology plan.

The Chief Engineer provides executive-level guidance, cost-benefit analysis, and oversight across CTI, APSE, and CIO,

Qualifications

Proven track record leading large-scale enterprise technology initiatives.
Experience designing, deploying, and managing resilient, scalable infrastructure.
Expertise in cloud-native solutions on AWS and Azure.
Strong architecture, design documentation, and proof-of-concepts.

Responsibilities

Define architectural vision and technology backlog to enable roadmaps.
Develop architecture roadmap across domains (Business, Application, Data, Technology).
Clarify architecture and provide solution options to resolve impediments.
Lead complex design discussions and drive modular, adaptable solutions.
