Job summary

Complete Building Services, a CBS division of The Donohoe Companies, seeks a Chief Engineer in the Woodbridge, VA area. The role requires strong building operations knowledge and after-hours emergency availability. Hours are M-F 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Salary $40-$45 based on experience.

Responsibilities include diagnostics and repairs on building systems, HVAC/plumbing/electrical work, schedule preparation, and documentation. EPA/BAS familiarity and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Universal CFC certification.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of engineering and building systems.
• Ability to plan, organize and meet deadlines.
• Ability to read, review and understand blueprints.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on building systems.
• Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical and life safety system repairs.
• Prepare work schedules.
• Maintain records and prepare required reports.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair work on a daily basis.
• Prepare and issue solicitations for the Contractor as necessary for the acquisition of goods and services in support of the contract requirements.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and project tracking software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Chief Engineer

Complete Building Services, a building operations and facilities maintenance company, is currently seeking a Chief Engineer in the Woodbridge, VA area. The Chief Engineer must possess strong building operations/systems knowledge and be available for after-hours emergency calls. Hours M-F 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills for detailed reporting
