Job summary

Amentum seeks a Chief Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO, to support the USSF COBRA DANE Operations and Sustainment (CDOS). You will provide technical leadership, systems engineering oversight, and cybersecurity impact assessments to advance mission objectives.

The role requires leading complex radar-system sustainment, ground-based radar engineering, fault isolation, and integration work across hardware and software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, hard science, or mathematics plus 14 years applicable experience, including ground-based radar experience.
• Advanced degree plus 12 years applicable experience, including ground-based radar experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, hard science, or mathematics plus 14 years applicable experience, including ground-based radar experience;
• or advanced degree plus 12 years applicable experience, including ground-based radar experience;
• Demonstrated technical leadership relevant to large ground-based phased-array radar operations, maintenance, sustainment, depot support, system engineering, configuration management, failure analysis, test, software/hardware integration, obsolescence, and cybersecurity impact assessment;
• Availability for the approved CDOS hours/FTE, duty location, travel, and classified-access requirements.

Security Clearance

Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret US Government Clearance.

Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain US Government Clearance.

Compensation Details

$225,500.00 Annual
