The Chief Engineer will manage schedules, safety, and vendor contracts, maintain an accurate inventory of tools and parts, and respond to emergencies while coordinating with hotel leadership to ensure service excellence.

• Oversee guest maintenance calls to ensure engineers follow core standards.
• Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly property meetings.
• Complete quarterly and annual evaluations of team members.
• Perform coaching and discipline as needed.

STATUS: Exempt

ANTICIPATED SHIFT: Minimum of 45 hrs/ Wk

UNIFORM: Designated Engineering Uniform.

JOB SUMMARY: The Chief Engineer is responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the entire property, specialty projects, and preventative maintenance of guest rooms and equipment with a proficiency in electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and plumbing.
