Job summary

Elite Executive Solutions has been retained to conduct a confidential search for a Chief Electrical Estimator to lead the estimating department for a Seattle-area electrical contractor. The ideal candidate will drive preconstruction excellence and collaborate with executive leadership to shape pursuit strategies.

You will mentor a team of estimators, review drawings and bid documents, manage budgets and proposals, and build strong relationships with owners, GC and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical estimating experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven track record on medium to large commercial/industrial projects.
• Experience leading estimating teams and mentoring staff.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods and cost control.
• Proficient with Accubid, Bluebeam, Excel and related software.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating and preconstruction for commercial/industrial projects.
• Develop budgets, proposals, and bids.
• Review drawings/specs and develop estimating strategies.
• Mentor and develop the estimating team.
• Collaborate with executives, operations, PM, and business development.
