Job summary

Ardent Mills is hiring a Director of Environmental, Health, Safety & Security to set and lead the company-wide EHS strategy and systems across locations. You will govern regulatory compliance, performance management, and data-driven insights while partnering across functions to align priorities with enterprise goals.

Responsibilities include incident investigations, KPIs, governance of safety and security programs, and leadership of EHS teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 10+ years EHS leadership experience in manufacturing or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and permitting.
• Proven ability to drive enterprise EHS strategy and governance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead an enterprise-wide safety culture with executive accountability.
• Govern incident management, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Develop strategy with KPIs to advance risk reduction and continuous improvement.
• Oversee EHS reporting, data integrity, and regulatory submissions.
• Direct enterprise EHS risk identification and mitigation systems.
• Lead emergency preparedness and business continuity for EHS events.
• Oversee enterprise security program governance and site access controls.
• Lead environmental compliance strategy across air, water, waste, and permits.
• Own EHS systems of record and data infrastructure for decision making.
• Manage EHS regulatory frameworks and governance with leaders.
