Belton Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) seeks an Executive Director to lead BEDC staff, manage complex projects, incentives, real estate, and partnerships, and represent BEDC with businesses, site selectors, developers and government partners.

The successful candidate will translate board direction into strategic priorities and annual work plans, supervise staff, build relationships with city officials and regional partners, and drive Belton’s economic growth and job creation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in economic development, business, planning or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible economic development or related experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and major projects.
• Ability to translate strategy into action and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of state and local economic development tools and incentives.

Responsabilidades

• Lead BEDC operations and staff to implement strategic priorities.
• Develop and negotiate incentives and development agreements.
• Foster relationships with city officials, site selectors, brokers and partners.
• Oversee real estate strategies, project development and workforce initiatives.
• Represent BEDC in public forums and maintain reporting and compliance.
