Job summary

The Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute Foundation seeks an Executive Director to serve as chief development officer, guiding fundraising, grant development, alumni and community engagement in support of CCC&TI's mission.

You will lead a high-performing team, cultivate major gifts, manage endowments, and ensure sound financial stewardship while working closely with the College President and Board to advance institutional priorities.

Qualifications

• Three years of fundraising, nonprofit management, donor relations, advancement, or a related field required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with major coursework in education, business administration, nonprofit management, communications, public administration, or a related field required.
• Knowledge of 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, governance, and best practices in philanthropy and fundraising.
• Ability to lead and develop staff, manage relationships with donors, and work collaboratively with college leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction for the Foundation's overall activities.
• Collaborates with the College President to align external fundraising with institutional priorities.
• Develops policies, ensures compliance, and oversees governance practices of the Foundation.
• Secures major gifts, bequests, and planned gifts, cultivating new donors and expanding donor networks.
• Manages endowments, investments, and financial reporting; coordinates with auditors and finance staff.
