Job summary

Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina is seeking a Senior Vice President of Development to lead its fundraising strategy, major gifts program, and donor relations across the Foundation. This executive role reports to the CEO and partners with the leadership team to expand philanthropic impact on all six Life Plan communities in South Carolina.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of fundraising experience, demonstrated success with planned giving, and the ability to engage

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of fundraising or funds development experience.
• Demonstrated experience working effectively with faith-based organizations.
• Strong proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; willingness to develop Raiser’s Edge NXT skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term philanthropic strategy to increase charitable giving and donor engagement.
• Lead vision and management of major funds, annual priorities, and capital campaigns.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major donor prospects statewide.
• Oversee donor recognition, including plaques, naming opportunities, and events.
