The role oversees City Year Chicago’s comprehensive development strategy and mobilizes resources from the philanthropic sector to support its mission to create change and opportunity for thousands of Chicago students.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of fundraising experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Three+ years managing a multi-functional team.
• Proven ability to solicit and secure 6-7 figure gifts.
• Experience collaborating with an Executive Director/CEO, Leadership team, and Board Leadership on major donor relationships.
• Track record in financial management, stewardship, and revenue growth strategies.
• Proven success building strong, mentoring leadership teams.
• History leading Managers and Directors in multi-faceted operating plans.
• Career stability and relationship-building across Chicago's philanthropic community preferred.
