Haynes Family Of Programs, based in La Verne, CA, seeks a Senior Chief Development Officer to lead fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and communications in support of its mission.

The role collaborates with the President/CEO, Board, and volunteers to expand grants, major gifts, and campaigns, and to align programs with strategic priorities across Los Angeles County. Strong leadership, budget oversight, and donor relations are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• CFRE preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of fund development in nonprofit settings.
• Ability to solicit individuals, corporations and foundations.
• Strong oral and written communication; leadership skills.
• Experience building long-term relationships with community partners.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and fundraising software.
• Budget development and fiscal monitoring experience.
• Supervisory experience and project management skills.
• Background checks and compliance as required.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and enhance the development program to maximize fundraising effectiveness.
• Develop annual and long-range fundraising strategies, goals and objectives.
• Identify, cultivate and solicit major gift prospects.
• Secure support via annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, partnerships and grants.
• Engage in donor cultivation with CEO, board and key stakeholders.
• Lead capital campaigns for facility improvements and endowment growth.
• Expand and diversify support across Los Angeles County and surrounding communities.
• Build relationships with donors, partners, foundations and long-time supporters.
• Oversee volunteer engagement and ambassador programs.
• Direct communications and public relations materials and campaigns.
• Lead grants and foundation relations; ensure compliance with funding requirements.
• Participate in executive leadership and strategic planning.
