Our client located in Fort Worth, Texas is looking for a Chief Development Officer with extensive Non-Profit experience and proven success managing campaigns that generate an annual minimum of $3M. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Chief Development Officer Role:
The Chief Development Officer will drive the organization’s philanthropic initiatives.
As CDO, you will oversee all aspects of fund development, aligning these efforts with the organization’s mission and strategic goals.
Take leadership in the organization’s annual giving, capital campaigns, endowment growth, special events, and community engagement outreach initiatives.
Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy that supports annual giving, endowment, and capital campaign objectives.
Lead the Development Department in cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donor relationships to ensure fundraising goals are met.
Drive the multi-million annual funding goal while overseeing an even larger multi-million capital campaign phase.
Lead the donation campaigns, working closely with senior leadership, board members, and volunteers to maximize fundraising impact.
Cultivate and secure major gifts and corporate sponsorships, leveraging strong relationships with key donors, foundations, and government entities.
Design and implement innovative donor engagement strategies that enhance recognition and foster long-term relationships.
Serve as the organization’s ambassador in the community, building meaningful relationships with local leaders, businesses, and philanthropic organizations.
Support local branches in their fundraising and community engagement initiatives.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure fundraising activities are aligned with our brand messaging.
Work closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and fundraising committees to drive the organization’s philanthropic initiatives.
Provide training and support for staff and volunteers, creating a culture of philanthropy throughout the organization.
Offer regular reports on fundraising progress, impact, and emerging opportunities.

Chief Development Officer Background Profile:
Bachelor Degree and 7-10 years of experience in Non-Profit Fundraising.
Proven success in leading large-scale fundraising efforts with an annual minimum average of $3M, including capital campaigns and securing major gifts.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of inspiring high-performing teams.
Expertise in donor relations and experience engaging diverse stakeholders such as board members, community leaders, and donors.
Knowledge of strategic campaign planning, planned giving, and donor database management.
A passion for our organization’s mission and the ability to align development efforts with our strategic vision.
