Job summary

State Theatre New Jersey (STNJ) is seeking a bold, strategic Vice President of Development to lead philanthropy, drive major gifts, annual fundraising, membership, and corporate/foundation support. This executive partners with the President & CEO and the Board to expand donor engagement and ensure sustainable revenue within a $12-14 million operating budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; seven+ years nonprofit fundraising experience.
Experience leading development functions and a minimum of three years in management.
Strong interpersonal, cultivation, organizational, and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead development campaigns and annual fundraising programs to support STNJ and contributed income goals.
Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors ($10,000+) across giving levels.
Develop solicitation strategies for corporate, small business, and private foundation support.
Provide Board liaison and manage board giving program and fundraising events.
