Make-A-Wish Metro New York and Western New York seeks a Chief Development Officer to lead the chapter's multi-channel fundraising efforts and revenue growth across Metro New York, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, and surrounding communities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience, especially in the Metro New York City area.
• Proven ability to cultivate, solicit, close major gifts and multi-year commitments.
• Experience leading fundraising teams and working with boards.
• Strong moves management, donor pipelines, and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Lead all fundraising strategy and execution for the chapter.
• Develop and implement an integrated development plan to grow contributed revenue.
• Diversify funding streams and deepen donor engagement.
• Oversee major gifts, individual giving, corporate partnerships, foundations, annual giving, and donor stewardship.
• Build and lead a high-performing development team across the footprint.
