Job summary
Somerville YMCA seeks a strategic Chief Development Officer to lead its next generation of philanthropy during a major expansion. You will design and drive a comprehensive fundraising strategy, cultivate a robust major gifts program, and partner with the President & CEO and the Board to position the YMCA for a future capital campaign.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive fundraising leadership experience.
- Track record of securing six- and seven-figure gifts.
- Experience building comprehensive fundraising strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with expansion plans.
- Lead donor cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and relationship management.
- Build and grow a robust major gifts portfolio.
- Develop campaign readiness and partnerships for future capital campaigns.
- Collaborate with President & CEO and Board to achieve ambitious goals.
