Harlem Grown is seeking a Chief Development Officer to lead revenue growth, strategy, and fundraising operations. You will manage a portfolio of high-capacity donors, oversee a 3–5 person advancement team, and drive engagement with executives and board partners to advance the mission.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience, a track record of closing six- and seven-figure gifts, and strong collaboration with leadership.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience with major gifts and foundation relations.
• Proven track record closing six- and seven-figure gifts from diverse funding sources.
• Experience managing and growing a major gifts portfolio.
• Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing advancement teams.
• Ability to develop and execute fundraising strategies across multiple revenue streams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience collaborating with executive leadership, program staff, board members, and volunteers.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms; comfort using data to drive strategy.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.

• Grow annual operating budget from ~$5.5M to ~$7M over three years.
• Own fundraising performance across individuals, foundations, corporate, government, and events.
• Manage portfolio of ~25 major donors, closing six- and seven-figure gifts.
• Lead donor pipeline development and diversify funding sources.
• Partner with CEO and Executive Director to optimize donor engagement.
• Develop and execute an integrated Advancement strategy and operations.
• Lead a 3–5 person advancement team and drive accountability.
• Collaborate with the senior team to align funding priorities with needs.
