Job summary

The Jewish Community Center of the East Bay seeks a Chief Development Officer to lead all fundraising efforts and grow the organization’s Annual Fund, major and planned gifts, and foundation, corporate, and sponsorship support. The CDO will play a central role in supporting JCC programming and the new East Bay Campus in Oakland.

Reporting to the CEO and serving on the Executive Team, the CDO will manage a small team, shape fundraising strategy, and drive donor engagement, stewardship, and events

Qualifications

Experience leading a comprehensive fundraising program.
Track record of major gift solicitations and donor cultivation.
Ability to build and manage a donor pipeline across foundations, corporations, and individuals.

Responsibilities

Lead development of annual fundraising plans and targets.
Oversee donor engagement, solicitation, and stewardship.
Manage and grow the fundraising team and collaborate with CEO and Board.
Work with Board Development Committee on budgets and metrics.
Represent the JCC East Bay with major donors, funders, and partners.
