Reporting to the Division of Development & Alumni Relations, this position manages a 12-15 member team, drives principal gift activity, and partners with senior administration to secure philanthropic

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 12 years of professional experience including 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Minimum 12 years fundraising experience; proven frontline fundraising and leadership in major campaigns.
  • Experience working with senior administration and building fundraising plans to support college priorities.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to manage a large team and collaborate across units within a university environment.

Responsibilities

  • Executive Leadership for all Development and Alumni Relations operations for the Franklin College of Arts & Sciences.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of 30+ principal gifts of $1M+ and meet annual fundraising goals.
  • Serve as liaison between Franklin College and University Development; align priorities and strategies.
  • Attend division and development staff meetings and coordinate with campus partners to ensure success.
