SafeSpace, Inc. is seeking a Director of Development to lead our fundraising strategy and revenue performance. You will oversee major gifts, corporate/foundation relationships, and robust stewardship, partnering with the CEO and Board to drive growth.

The role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and experience building high-performing development teams in a mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in fundraising, nonprofit management, communications, or related field.
• CFRE or comparable credential preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive nonprofit fundraising experience including major gifts and corporate/foundation strategy.

Responsabilités

• Own the annual development strategy and revenue planning across streams.
• Manage a portfolio of major and mid-level donors; partner with CEO on top relationships; oversee cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
• Lead Board engagement tools and coaching; drive ambassador activity.
• Oversee corporate sponsorships, employee giving, and workplace giving programs; ensure sponsor benefits.
• Direct foundation/DAF relationships, reporting, site visits and year-end focus.
• Provide strategic direction for campaigns and appeals; coordinate donor journeys and post-event follow-up.
