Job summary

Orangewood Foundation is seeking an experienced fundraising executive to direct long-range revenue and brand-building efforts. You will lead a team, cultivate major donors, and partner with the Board to secure multi-million-dollar funding to expand services for foster youth in Orange County and beyond.

The role requires a track record in strategic fundraising, moves management, and marketing-driven donor engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum twelve years of progressive fundraising experience, including five years as a senior fundraising executive.
• Proven track record of achieving multi-million-dollar funding goals.
• Experience with major gifts, endowments, and capital campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Directs revenue-generating and brand-building strategies across development and marketing.
• Manage a portfolio of major donors and cultivate long-term engagement.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with the Board and principal benefactors.
• Lead annual plans for Development and Marketing aligned with the organization's strategy.
• Identify stakeholders and influencers to secure partnerships and resources.
• Direct the governance-aligned policy and cultural initiatives with executive leadership.
• Promote brand awareness and visibility in Orange County and beyond.
• Mentor a high-performing development and marketing team with rigorous goal-setting.
