Job summary

Orangewood Foundation in California seeks an experienced fundraising leader to direct multi-million-dollar revenue initiatives and enhance brand visibility. You will manage major donor portfolios, build strategic partnerships with the Board, and guide the development and marketing teams toward sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 12+ years of progressive fundraising experience, including 5+ years as a senior fundraising executive in a large nonprofit.
• Proven track record of securing $6-8M+ in annual funding from diversified donors and campaigns.
• Experience with elected officials and stakeholder relationship management highly desirable.
• Demonstrated major gifts experience, including closing high 5- and 6-figure gifts.
• Leadership in leveraging Board and volunteers to execute complex development initiatives.
• Mastery of moves management, donor stewardship, and data-driven strategy.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Valid CA driver's license and DMV clearance.

Responsibilities

• Champion aggressive, data-driven revenue strategies to expand the programmatic footprint.
• Personally manage a portfolio of major donors and cultivate deep engagement.
• Lead annual development and marketing plans with the Board and key benefactors.
• Identify stakeholders and influencers to secure partnerships and resources.
• Develop leadership pipelines and board engagement for fundraising initiatives.
• Guide policy and culture initiatives across the executive team.
• Promote brand awareness and senior leadership visibility in the community.
• Serve as a catalyst for change and ambassadorship in partnerships.
