Job summary

Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School is seeking a Director of Development and Communications to lead fundraising, donor relations, grant writing, and communications strategy. The role oversees all advancement activities, including events, reporting, and scholarship program outreach.

The director will manage staff, collaborate with the President and leadership teams, and ensure alignment with the school’s Jesuit mission and growth goals.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Cristo Rey’s Catholic, Jesuit mission.
• 5 years of advancement experience.
• Grant writing experience.
• Proficiency with Raiser's Edge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all fundraising functions to meet yearly financial needs.
• Cultivate and steward donor relationships with individuals, foundations, and corporations.
• Coordinate with Corporate Work Study on foundation sponsorships.
• Direct marketing and communications including website, social media, newsletters, and media relations.
• Organize fundraising events and manage grant applications with timely reporting.
• Market scholarship programs with state and federal tax credits.
• Oversee the Mentor Program and school-wide volunteer efforts.
• Attend Board meetings and provide reports to committees.
• Hire and supervise Advancement staff and guide program goals.
