Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Chief Desktop Architect to lead the Workplace Technology Desktop Engineering team in New York City or Pittsburgh, defining the long‑term vision for end-user computing across desktops, laptops, and virtual workplace platforms.

You will provide architectural oversight for platform modernization, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery, while driving an AI endpoint strategy to reduce cloud inferencing costs and protect data.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term vision for BNY's end‑user computing across desktop, laptop, and virtual workplace platforms.
• Provide architectural oversight for platform modernization, vulnerability management, system hardening, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Shape and drive the future AI endpoint strategy, including on-device inferencing and edge computing to reduce cloud costs and protect data.
• Govern technology direction to ensure secure, resilient services aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
