Expeditors, a global logistics leader based in Seattle, seeks a Vice President of Enterprise Data Governance & Analytics to establish and scale our data governance and analytics functions. This role ensures data is trusted, accessible, and leveraged to create value across products, services, and business units.

This senior leader will partner with Business Stakeholders and Global Technology to activate the data strategy—aligning people, processes, and technology for modernization and AI

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in global logistics, supply chain, or technology-driven service organizations.
• 5 years of experience in data governance, analytics, data strategy, or related leadership roles.
• Strong leadership with ability to influence, collaborate, and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
• Working knowledge of data governance frameworks, data management practices, and data lifecycle management.
• Understanding of modern analytics environments (cloud data platforms, BI tooling, AI/ML concepts).

Responsibilities

• Lead data governance and analytics functions to enable data-driven decisions.
• Partner with stakeholders across units to align data strategy with business goals.
• Define measurable data quality metrics and remediation processes.
• Oversee analytics team for reporting, dashboards, forecasting, and adoption.
• Drive modernization and AI enablement with governed data.
• Champion data readiness for system modernization and AI deployment.
