Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Data Strategy & Governance Consultant to design and operationalize enterprise data governance frameworks. You will build stewardship processes, author data policies, and configure governance tooling to ensure data is trusted and ready for analytics and AI.

You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate governance concepts into practical, scalable operating models and implementations. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in data management or governance
• Minimum 2 years operationalizing governance frameworks
• Minimum 2 years hands-on with data cataloging or lineage tooling
• Minimum 2 years experience with regulatory and privacy compliance requirements
• Minimum 1 year experience serving utilities clients or related function
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience)

Responsibilities

• Execute data governance design and operationalization covering ownership, stewardship, data quality, metadata management, and policy enforcement
• Operationalize governance models with stakeholders to enable trusted analytics and AI
• Support governance structures by establishing councils, data classification, and access policies
• Configure governance tooling (cataloging, lineage, data quality) using Databricks, Snowflake, Collibra, Alation, Purview
• Ensure governance work aligns with regulatory and privacy requirements and supports master data management
