Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a seasoned technology executive to serve as Chief Technology Officer for the Databricks Data & AI consulting practice. You will be the senior technical authority, guiding data strategy, architecture, and migrations to Databricks, while owning client relationships and shaping the practice's assets and market presence.

You will lead the technical side of pursuits, set engineering standards, and partner with Databricks field teams and analysts to drive measurable client outcomes

Qualifications

10+ years of technology leadership with 5+ years as CTO or equivalent.
Deep Databricks production systems experience (Lakehouse, Unity Catalog).
Proven migration and modernization experience for data platforms.

Responsibilities

Shape data & AI strategy and target-state architecture for clients.
Define reference architectures, standards, and governance for Databricks ecosystems.
Own major Databricks opportunities from discovery to solution design and SOWs.
Lead migrations from legacy warehouses to Databricks and build migration toolkits.
Manage Databricks partnership, co-selling, and joint GTM with cloud providers.
Develop reusable assets and act as technical spokesperson at events.
