Job summary

Village Farms International invites a seasoned Head of Data, ML & Analytics to lead the enterprise data platform, analytics strategy, and applied AI initiatives across farming operations, supply chain, finance, and sustainability.

Based in Orlando, FL, this executive will establish modern data architecture, governance, and BI capabilities (Power BI, Fabric/Synapse) and partner with Technology, Operations, and Commercial leaders to deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

12+ years in data/analytics leadership.
5+ years building enterprise data platforms and BI at scale.
Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse and Power BI.
Experience establishing data governance, stewardship, and quality frameworks.
Track record delivering AI/ML solutions with clear business impact.

Responsibilities

Define and own the enterprise data strategy, reference architecture, and roadmap.
Stand up and evolve the enterprise data platform (Fabric or Synapse) and integrate core systems.
Standardize enterprise dashboards and self-service analytics in Power BI.
Build an ML portfolio aligned with AI initiatives and measurable outcomes.
Lead data governance, policies, and stewardship across the organization.
Oversee data platform engineering, pipelines, and CI/CD for data products.
