Job summary

FullStack seeks a Chief Data Officer - Data & AI Governance to lead data strategy and governance for enterprise clients. The role involves partnering with client teams, shaping data architecture across cloud platforms, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will represent data governance at executive levels and drive AI data classification initiatives. You will work in a fully remote model with opportunities to collaborate with startups and Fortune 500 clients, contributing to high-impact data

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in data, analytics, or technology roles.
• 5+ years of leadership experience scaling cross-functional data engineering, analytics, and governance teams.
• Established and enforced enterprise data governance, data classification, and regulatory compliance frameworks in production.
• Designed and executed enterprise data architecture strategy across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Built data policy and governance frameworks for AI tools and data classification methods.
• Experience presenting data strategy and reporting to executives and Boards of Directors.
• Experience in mortgage/financial services to enforce regulatory compliance and privacy standards.
• Advanced English is required.
• Four-year college degree is required.
• Forensic attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
• Experience on Agile/Scrum teams and large, complex systems.
• Ability to take extreme ownership and align with client goals.
