Job summary

Nubank in Bogotá, Colombia, seeks an experienced Information & Security leader to drive risk management, controls, and compliance in complex, regulated environments. You’ll partner with engineers and business teams, translate risk into practical actions, and communicate clearly with regulators and executives in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Information & Business Security, Privacy, Risk Management and IT Governance.
• Strong ability to communicate with engineers and executives in complex security topics.
• Experience implementing security controls in regulated environments and cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Create strong relationships with diverse teams, coordinating communication between audiences, teams and stakeholders in english and spanish.
• Assess security gaps across technologies and business contexts; design technical action plans.
• Support regulatory compliance with cybersecurity requirements and provide guidance on strategies and trade-offs.
• Lead incident response across different technical teams, identifying root causes and improving security posture.
• Develop and implement information security, physical security, fraud prevention, and cyber risk management policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specs and vice-versa.
• Define guidelines and best practices on business security matters to empower Nubankers to work securely.
• Support other security engineers and foster continuous learning in a collaborative environment.
