Job summary

Nubank is seeking a highly capable IT risk professional to join its global risk management team in a hybrid São Paulo setting. You will oversee technology risk across platforms, support incident follow-up, and drive continuous improvement of IT risk practices while coordinating with Engineering, Data, Product, and Risk teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of risk assessment, governance, and regulatory expectations in fintech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• Experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, IT risk management, information security, or internal controls.
• Regulatory knowledge across fintech or financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct IT and cybersecurity risk assessments across domains, products, and processes.
• Assess risks for new products, features, and architecture early in the lifecycle.
• Develop mitigation plans aligned with risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor KPIs, dashboards, and risk metrics; escalate where needed.
• Prepare risk reports for senior management and governance forums.
• Support testing of controls and remediation initiatives.
• Collaborate with global and local teams to apply risk frameworks consistently.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency of IT risk activities.
