Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Chief Engineer to serve as the senior technical authority and platform modernization lead for a large-scale, mission-critical defensive security program. You will own the end-to-end technical vision, enforce architectural discipline, and drive improvements in zero trust posture and operational resilience.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance (polygraph may be required).
• 10+ years in cybersecurity engineering or architecture.
• 5+ years in Chief Engineer/Principal Architect or senior technical leadership on large programs.
• Experience delivering security solutions in regulated federal environments.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical roadmap and architecture across multiple projects.
• Lead end-to-end Zero Trust design, testing, and deployment.
• Oversee Agile ITSM lifecycle and change management for security tools.
• Manage vendor evaluations, procurement, and interoperability.
• Lead technical baseline reviews, CD RLs, and architecture working groups.
