Fannie Mae is seeking a Vice President of Cyber Defense to shape and execute the enterprise cybersecurity strategy. You will oversee Threat Detection, Incident Management, and cyber protection programs across on-prem and multi-cloud environments.

You will partner with business, technology, and risk leaders to strengthen security posture, drive modernization, and ensure compliant, scalable cyber defenses aligned to business needs.

Qualifikationen

• Significant progressive leadership experience in cybersecurity, technology, or technology risk.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale Cyber Defense, Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, or related capabilities.
• Proven ability to develop and execute cybersecurity strategies across complex environments.
• Deep understanding of modern adversary behaviors and AI-driven threats.

Aufgaben

• Drive detection and containment of cybersecurity events to protect Fannie Mae systems.
• Oversee cyber incident response and management programs with cross-functional collaboration.
• Direct strategies to mature the enterprise security posture in on-prem/multi-cloud environments.
• Lead governance and risk management activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with risk, legal, and audit stakeholders and run tabletop exercises.
