Job summary

Fannie Mae seeks a Vice President of Cybersecurity to lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will drive modernization, resilience, and compliance while partnering with business and risk leaders to strengthen security posture.

This role requires 10+ years in cybersecurity leadership, broad domain expertise, and the ability to translate complex security concepts for executives. On-site work is expected with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in cybersecurity or information security, technology risk, or related technology disciplines.
• Broad knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and frameworks across multiple domains.
• Proven experience aligning cybersecurity strategies with business priorities in regulated environments.
• Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills, with the ability to translate concepts for leaders.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise cybersecurity strategies, roadmaps, and programs aligned with priorities.
• Provide cross-functional leadership across security disciplines (engineering, risk, governance, data protection, cloud security, etc.).
• Oversee threat monitoring, incident response, and cyber resilience programs.
• Partner with risk, compliance, legal, and audit to align priorities and controls.
