HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a dynamic Chief CRNA to lead anesthesia services at HCA Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, VA. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership to guide a team focused on patient outcomes and service excellence.

You will partner with the Vice Chief CRNA to provide leadership, mentorship, and operational oversight for the anesthesia department, helping advance organizational priorities and support team development while ensuring safe, high‑quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college and 3+ years of managerial experience preferred
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia Program
• Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the AANA/NBCRNA
• Active licensure with current ACLS, BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Develop continuous performance improvement and risk management programs.
• Ensure compliance with licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements.
• Lead educational initiatives to meet APP continuing education needs.
• Maintain efficient perioperative workflow and oversee scheduling.
• Collaborate with leadership to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
• Oversee recruitment efforts for quality APPs in collaboration with recruitment teams.
• Supervise and evaluate staff APPs, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Foster strong communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
