Heritage Bank is seeking a Chief Credit Officer to lead credit policy and risk management, shaping the loan portfolio strategy for sustainable growth. You will direct the credit team, enhance portfolio quality, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

In this role you will collaborate with the executive team on strategic planning, oversee risk assessments, and drive improvements in credit operations and technology usage to deliver exceptional service.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in credit risk management, with senior leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in leveraging technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Mansioni

• Develop and implement credit policies, procedures, and guidelines to manage credit risk.
• Oversee the credit approval process to ensure loans meet standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and manage the credit portfolio to balance risk and reward.
• Conduct regular credit reviews and stress tests to identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Oversee workout, liquidation and reporting of problem loans.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of credit professionals; foster teamwork and continuous improvement.
