Job summary

Heritage Bank NA is seeking a Chief Credit Officer to shape credit strategy, lead a talented team, and ensure portfolio quality while driving growth. You will oversee credit policies, risk management, and regulatory compliance to position the bank for sustainable expansion.

As a member of the executive team, you will drive technology-enabled processes and collaborations that improve efficiency and risk controls, supporting responsible lending across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years in credit risk management, with senior leadership experience.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills; proficient with technology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee credit policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Manage credit approval and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor loan portfolio to balance risk and reward.
• Lead credit risk team and develop talent.
• Conduct regular credit reviews and stress tests.
• Ensure BSA training and regulatory liaison.
