The Georgia Ports Authority invites applications for the position of General Manager of Equipment Engineering and Maintenance at Garden City Terminal. You will lead crane maintenance programs, supervise staff, and coordinate with internal partners to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency of STS, RTG, RMG, and mobile equipment.

Ideal candidates have extensive project management experience, 10+ years in mechanical and electrical maintenance of port equipment, and a Bachelor's degree

Formación

• Extensive project management experience for crane systems.
• Mechanical and electrical experience with maintenance of port equipment.
• Bachelor's degree required; electrical engineering preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Identify resources for maintenance of cranes and mobile equipment.
• Develop maintenance and best-practice programs for GPA equipment.
• Lead budget planning for cranes and equipment.
• Coordinate with internal customers and other GPA departments.
• Review equipment safety and performance with stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly cost, utilization, and downtime reports.
• Oversee bid specifications and contractor selections.
• Mentor and coach maintenance staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
