Blue Heron Companies, LLC is seeking an accomplished Vice President of Construction to lead all construction operations in Las Vegas. The role drives safety, quality, and on-time delivery while partnering with pre-construction, design, and development teams to pursue and execute multi‑million-dollar projects.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in construction leadership, including 5+ years in an executive role, with strong financial acumen and a track record of delivering complex projects

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive construction leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven success managing complex, high-value projects from start to finish.
• Deep knowledge of means, methods, safety standards, building codes, and project controls.
• Strong financial and business acumen with experience managing P&L for large projects or divisions.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision, direction, and leadership for all construction operations.
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability across projects.
• Oversee execution of active projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, trade partners, and stakeholders.
• Represent Blue Heron at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
