Chief Construction Inspector

Dewberry is seeking a Chief Construction Inspector to work on projects in the greater NYC metropolitan area. The Chief Inspector will review job specifications, plans, field work methods, costs, and supervise inspectors on the job site to verify compliance with contract documents.

Candidate must have prior construction inspection experience on NYSDOT, NYCDEP, NYSTA or other state/city agencies projects and possess NICET IV Certification in Transportation/Highway and Bridge Construction or equivalent. DDC Water Main Training, NJSAT, ACI and Rutgers TCC certifications and knowledge of Ebuilder are also desirable. Additional requirements include excellent communications skills, ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, and ability to perform complex quantity and engineering computations.

Required Skills & Experience
