Job summary

Stefanini Group in Dearborn, MI is seeking an Editor-in-Chief to lead corporate communications across ET channels, establish publishing schedules, curate high-impact stories, and ensure consistent voice and narrative standards.

You will own channel governance, define standards for branding and messaging, manage the channel-recommendation AI, analyze readership data, and translate insights into executive-facing reports, driving alignment and efficiency across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, editorial management, or internal media channels within a large, matrixed organization.
• Demonstrated experience establishing editorial guidelines, brand standards, and formal channel governance models.
• Proven track record of evaluating and optimizing multi-channel communication networks and publishing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Editorial Leadership & Channel Governance.
• Editorial Direction & Content Curation: Lead primary ET channels with publishing schedules, curate high-impact stories, and enforce quality, voice, and narrative standards.
• Brand & Marketing Standards: Define ET-wide communication, visual, and narrative standards aligned with corporate guidelines; ensure modern, audience-first messaging.
• AI Tool Ownership & Adoption: Own lifecycle, iteration, and maintenance of the channel-recommendation AI assistant; pilot features and drive adoption.
• Channel Integrity & Guidance: Serve as the primary steward for channel usage and governance when requests misalign with strategy.
• Analytics, Measurement & Operating Strategy: Pull, validate, and analyze readership data to establish a unified reporting baseline.
• Executive Insights & Reporting: Translate engagement metrics into executive-level reporting on audience trends and outcomes.
• Channel Optimization & Alignment: Collaborate to reduce noise, streamline workflows, and improve cross-team alignment.
