Job summary

Foundever in Wilmington, NC seeks a Vice President of Communications to lead internal and external communications, including public relations, media relations, crisis communications, social media, and website content. This is a senior leadership role reporting to the CEO, guiding messaging that supports Foundever's mission and strategic goals.

The role manages a communications team, partners with executives to shape messaging, coordinates PR efforts, and drives digital marketing and social media

Qualifications

• 10+ years in communications or PR with leadership experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to lead a team and drive messaging across channels
• Experience with digital marketing and social media development

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a communications strategy aligned with organizational goals
• Oversee external and internal communications channels
• Collaborate with executives to craft messaging reflecting Foundever's vision and values
• Coordinate public relations efforts to maintain a positive image
• Direct crisis communications planning and response
• Mentor and manage a communications team for consistent messaging
