Job summary

AmerisourceBergen is seeking a Senior Director of Cloud Security to lead global strategy, architecture, engineering, and governance of cloud security for an enterprise operating in multi-cloud and hybrid environments. The role ensures secure by design, regulatory compliance, and strong partnerships with technology teams and executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in cybersecurity, information security, computer science, or related field.
• Master's preferred in same domains.
• 12+ years of experience with 8+ years in a managerial role in information security.
• CCSP/CISSP/CISM/SC-100 or similar certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise cloud security strategy aligned to risk and regulatory requirements.
• Establish cloud security architectures, guardrails, and design patterns.
• Lead cloud security governance across AWS/Azure/GCP and SaaS providers.
• Maintain cloud security policy framework and control standards (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA).
• Partner with CISO and technology leaders to enable secure business velocity.
