Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance preferred
• BS/BA in IT or CS with strong experience
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert CISSP certifications
• Proficiency in cloud architecture design including networking, scalability and security
• Experience with AWS and Azure; Azure preferred
• Knowledge of Terraform and Ansible
• DevSecOps, CI/CD practices
• SOA and microservice patterns
• SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Cloud observability and version control integration (Git)

Responsibilities

• Design robust cloud foundation hosting agency applications
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineers and Cloud Security professionals
• Define cloud infrastructure, networking and deployment strategies per federal standards
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance
• Ensure resilience, security, cost-effectiveness of cloud environments
• Mentor stakeholders and represent AIS in industry forums
