Job summary

MercyOne, part of Trinity Health, seeks a Chief Clinical Officer to provide strategic leadership for patient safety, clinical services and care management across acute and ambulatory settings. The CCO partners with local boards and senior medical leadership to advance quality, risk management and performance improvement.

This role oversees pharmacy and the 340B program, drives regulatory compliance, and chairs leadership councils to align with the system's mission and vision.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification required.
• Strong track record in leading quality and patient safety programs at a senior level.
• Advanced degree (MBA) preferred to drive organizational strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality, patient safety, regulatory review and care management programs across the system.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, risk management and performance improvement for MercyOne.
• Collaborate with hospital medical leadership and boards to drive system-wide quality initiatives.
• Coordinate care continuums and use data to improve outcomes and value.
