Job summary

Vibra Hospital of Boise seeks a Chief Clinical Officer to lead nursing and clinical services, ensure staffing and quality, and drive hospital-wide policy development. You will work closely with physicians to optimize patient care and outcomes in a 40-bed Critical Care setting.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with a BSN and a Master’s in Health Admin or Nursing, plus 5+ years of nursing management experience and Vibra-approved BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license in the practicing state.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master’s in health admin or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in nursing management supervising patient care.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from Vibra-approved vendor required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and facilitate nursing and clinical services.
• Provide executive leadership in hospital decision-making and staffing.
• Develop hospital-wide systems, policies, and budgets for patient care.
• Ensure resource utilization, staff competency, and care quality improvement.

We are seeking a Chief Clinical Officer to join our team!

Hospital Details

Vibra Hospital of Boise, located in Boise, ID, is a 40 bed Critical Care Hospital, providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Responsible for directing and facilitating the activities of nursing and clinical services. Assumes an active leadership role in the hospital’s decision making structure and process. Ensuring and facilitates competence of the clinical staff, appropriate staffing for patient care, and clinical program development. Develops hospital-wide systems, policies and procedures designed to meet the patient care need. Has overall responsibility and accountability for the development of staffing plans and development and implementation of departmental budgets. Responsible for planning for the appropriate utilization of resources, maintaining or improving the work environment, and monitoring and improving the quality and appropriateness of care. Assures appropriate staff for the acuity of the patients. Works closely with Physicians to address patient care needs and enhance patient care systems. Promotes the facility through active involvement and participation in external and internal activities concerning health care services.

Required Skills

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required.
• Master’s Degree in Health Administration, Nursing or related field required.
• Five (5) years experience in a Nursing Management position supervising the delivery of patient care required.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required where work is provided in multiple sites.
